I am looking for a scanner with better resokution than the Kinect** A: Just to make things clear: this is not a 3D Scanner (Kinect is also not a 3d scanner). This is a RGB-D camera. As for the scanning performance, it will partially depend on the software you intend to use. Also, which Kinect version are we talking about? **Q: Does this camera give better depth perception in images/videos? Or is the "depth" simply collecting the depth data. Does it change image quality?** A: There are two separate cameras; a standard camera and a depth camera. The depth camera only provides depth images. **Q: Does this come with any kind of privacy filter/door?
