The thread count is exuberantly exaggerated and the lack of a brushed microfiber feel and to top it off loose threads on all the seems. Are they more thin than others? I guess perhaps, but that didn't bother me once I crawled between the sheets. They are SO soft and stay cool; I don't want to get out of bed! They wash well (I use cold water and low dryer) and no pilling or wrinkles. I have a 16.5 mattress with topper and these fit very well and do not come off during the night like I read about. This is actually the first flat sheet in five years that does not pull out of the bottom where I tuck it in tight under the mattress. They have a great feel and a beautiful charcoal color, but they just don't fit.
