This book is a quick guide to help you craft the speech you are wondering how to write. This book gives you simple, repeatable structure for your speeches. Mike Acker suggests, "Speeches should answer four main questions. Why? Why am I giving this speech? Who? Who is the audience? For this question generalize. What? What do you want to say about your subject? The fourth question is Who? Get deeper with who the audience is." The author suggests brainstorming with a mind map. Mike Acker states, " Then organize your points into three large systems: introduction, body, and conclusion. Then further break down the body of the speech into 'points'." He says, "For your speeches, you can choose three points which serve as the buckets for all the other material. If three is not possible, emphasize three points out of the many."
