Seeing that this blade is just over 3 inches long, the task of killing a polar bear becomes a challenge. I am not saying that this is an impossible task, however an attack would need to come with precision and accuracy. If the attack is conducted and think blubber and muscles are avoided, I recon this knife could take down a polar bear. Hope this helps! **Q: How long is that blade? As an EDC, my state only allows 3".** A: It is exactly 2" 13/16 6" 13/16 over all. 1" at the widest part of the blade I currently carry it as an edc and use it heavily at work and I'd buy a replacement if this one ever failed or was lost **Q: Why did the hole in this knife change to a small hole you can't even get your finger tip in? It used to be much bigger.
