For months, I thought I just had a blister on my hand as I do a lot of outdoor work so have other blisters. But this one was painful and I finally made the connection that I had a wart under my blister. I bought this product and followed instructions to the word. First thing in the morning, I would soak my hand in warm/hot water for 5 minutes, dry off and then apply the gel. After blowing on it for a few minutes (on/off), I was sure it wouldn't smudge but I was still careful and could start my day. After about 15 minutes it really hardened and it definitely didn't need to worry about it. I repeated these same steps at night before bed (night was easier as I just did it after showering and brushing my teeth so no need to soak. For the first two weeks, I didn't notice too much other than the skin/blister was turning white. Then around day 15, the edges started to peel up a bit on one side so I knew that part of the skin was dying (if that's the correct term). The key here is DO NOT help to peel it off. Just keep doing the same routine and applying gel twice a day. After like 3-4 more days it really was peeling off and the majority was seperated and boy was it hard not to just rip the rest off. DON'T DO IT. Just keep applying the gel until it naturally falls off. Once that happened, I saw the skin underneath wasn't the light pink "fresh" skin, but more dark and also had these dark spots. **Q: Can I use this for neck？**
A: It won't remove necks, but if there is a wart on your neck then your in business...

**Q: Can I use this on my face?**
A: On the back of the package, it says "do not use on warts on the face."

**Q: Do you wash this off or let it come off like a peel over time? I found it difficult to wash off but didn't know if I should leave it**
A: Don’t wash it off.  Let the gel dry on your wart and peel over time. Its good that it’s difficult to wash off, that way you are able to wash/keep that area clean while it continues doing it’s job of slowly burning off the wart layer by layer.

**Q: I just applied mines and it burns, should it be burning?**
A: I have a good tip to help with the stinging or burning. Before applying, get a qtip and surround the wart with lotion. Then the outer skin will be protected from the medicine.

I used this to remove a skin tag. It was very effective. I used the gel on the skin tag for two days. On the third day I went to put the gel on and the skin tag fell off. Usually I get them burned off at the Dr. This was significantly cheaper.

I used Compound W Maximum Strength Wart Remover to treat a plantar wart and overall it was effective. The fast-acting gel formula was easy to apply exactly where needed and the 0.25 oz tube lasted through the entire treatment process. It took several applications over a couple of weeks to see results, but the wart eventually disappeared. It did cause some minor skin irritation as expected with salicylic acid, but it was manageable. A reliable and straightforward solution for common warts.
