Also has a measurement equivalent chart. **Q: Is the top self-healing?** A: No, it is a laminate. I have a couple self-healing mats and just use one of those when cutting. This table is awesome and my only regret is that I waited so long before ordering. **Q: Is the height adjustable** A: No it is not adjustable. My wife ordered the table and did not check the height versus the table she was using which was an old dining table. This table is about 5 inches taller so now she is going to have to buy a stool so that she can work at it. She can not stand for long periods of time. I wish she would have checked the height. **Q: What’s the top part material?** A: Laminated particle board. I went to the efforts to put the table together (it was easy but takes a while). It’s a fabulous table but I did notice on unboxing some chips down one side. I figured I’d live with it cosmetically vs the hassle of returning. But I’ve just finished putting it together and realise it’s now unusable as a fabric cutting table as these chips will instantly snag the fabric! I’m hoping this one board can be resent to me so I don’t have to dismantle it all, resend back and then re-make a whole new table! Disappointing and a whole lot of effort and fuss.
