I have a 10gallon tank **Q: What size light for a 20 gallon tank not loog neither** A: For my 20 gallon tall aquarium the best fit was a 24" to 30". It fit the aquarium without extending the brackets and covered the entire tank. I didn't have a cover on my aquarium, didn't have any jumpers in there, so I don't know how it will fit with your cover. **Q: Can this light be placed directly on top of the aquariim glass with the stand removed?** A: Yes, it can be placed on top of aquarim after removed the stand.
