So I searched Amazon and found this one, which was reasonably priced and bigger than my old one.I'm happy with it for the most part. It's 1/4" thick acrylic and has 9 feet on the bottom for stability. It fits perfectly on my counter top next to the sink. It's a frosted clear, so my counter top can show through. I'm looking forward to the next time I have a big canning project because I won't have to cut things up in stages - there's plenty of room on this one! It will be good for rolling out dough, kneading bread, and setting hot pots, too. I was pleased to see that it's made in the USA, because I buy American whenever I can.My only complaint is that the board is bowed upward in the middle, so the middle foot doesn't touch the counter top. I'm assuming it will relax after a while, but I've put a little pressure on it to help it out. It's thick enough that it doesn't flex when I use it, but I do wish it would lie perfectly flat.Edited August 1, 2012: I ended up sending this cutting board back to Amazon, because the bowing caused liquids to run down from the middle and pool underneath. I just cut up a ton of tomatoes for canning, and it was a mess using this cutting board. But Amazon has great customer service! They paid return shipping and are sending me a replacement. I'll leave the 4 stars on my original review until I get the replacement board and see if it is flat.Edited August 2, 2012: I got the replacement board from Amazon in one day! Using as protective cover over Induction Stove -- missing bumper guards on one. *by T***A on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 12, 2020* I searched high and low for a usable cover to place over our new induction stove which is right in the middle of the island where we prep our food typically. I ordered two of these (a little pricey!) but they fit perfectly. If I'm only using one burner on the stove then I can just slip one side off because the induction does not make the rest of the stove top hot. I was not sure if I wanted glass or acrylic, but I like the acrylic as it is not too heavy to move back and forth over the stove. I can just slide it off to the side and use it as a cutting board as needed. The textured surface does seem to be resistant to showing knife markings. My only disappointment thus far is that one of the boards came with only 6 bumper guards and the other has 9. I'm wondering if the others could be mailed to me?
