It got to the point that my Samsung Note 3 battery was draining even while plugged in (granted, I was using it while it charged, which may not be the best idea, but this had always worked prior to its failure).This is the second time I've purchased this cord and I have had the same problem with each cord losing its ability to rapidly or effectively charge my phone.I will look for another compatible cord that is long enough to charge my phone and while it sits on my night table, rather than on the windowsill. If I can't find another extra long option I will be forced to purchase this one, yet again.
