With more modern cars, where the tendency is for the headrest to be fixed, rather than adjustable, this is a perennial problem. Over the last decade or so, we have not owned a vehicle which did not give rise to strident complaints about the lack of headrest comfort, and, increasingly, I have become desperate about finding a solution. Setting aside amputation from the neck up, tempting though that might be as a permanent resolution, I seized upon this headrest. I must confess that my research was probably over-dominated by the criterion of cost, as it seemed fiscally irresponsible to spend a fortune on an item that might be therapeutically underwhelming.
