I am guessing that is by weight not volume as the jar is small. I like the compound well enough, but both containers fell apart, and the compound dried out in both containers in record time. You can replenish dried out compound with naphtha, a solvent the manufacturer uses in formulating the product, but the replenished naphtha seems only to accelerate the deterioration of the thin plastic container. I docked this product two stars (harshly) because of the inferior packaging, which is really aggravating.
