It arrived at my door about 12 hours later! The difference is incredible. Before installing it, my radio was HOT to the touch. Now it stays cool throughout my FT8 sessions. In my setup, I’ve noticed ZERO RF interference, and the fan is so quiet I literally cannot hear it. Based on my experience, the noise complaints almost scared me away from a fantastic product. As for the reviews mentioning “missing legs,” check the case! They are retracted and simply pop out. My goodness people! They’re built right into the unit. I’m glad I gave this a chance. It does exactly what I wanted, and it’s worth every dollar. Thanks, Radioddity—you did it again!

I have not experienced that with my unit. I will say that unless you are going to use it for pota you may not need the fan. I have not found my G-90 to ever get hot. If it is outside in the sun and running hard I could see the need. I’m really happy with the purchase.

I purchased this cooling fan for my G-90 and it was very easy to install, it is worth the price if your radio gets hot when being used. They do warm up. The noise level is too high when you are indoors and sometimes out doing POTA. The build quality is outstanding and it really does work. It has legs to raise the front of the radio to a good viewing angle. Mine was loud so I replaced the fan with a Noctua NF-A9x14 pwm Premium Quiet Fan that fit perfectly into the case. Now it is quiet and I am very satisfied. Buy one and try one it is worth the price. It will cool your G-90.
