It does take a bit of force to install it and get it pulled tightly to the shock to clear the tire, but it wasn't really that hard. The velcro straps are a really nice touch, seems much more professional than zip ties. Review: No more mud and gravel in my face! - 5 minute installation. It gets a little in the way of the front tire arm on my Kuat bike rack, but just compress right over the top of it and it straightens out (sometimes with a little help) after taking it off the rack.
