It worked okay when I got it...couldn't shred more than 2 or 3 sheets at a time (even though it was supposed to do 8), and never worked shredding thicker paper or credit cards (just came through mostly intact, with some perforations in them), but it worked passably well for shredding junk mail so I figured I'd keep it. Fast forward 5 months...it now won't shred even a single piece of paper, everything just comes through whole with a few holes in it. It came with a user manual that described the product warranty and return instructions, so today I called InfoGuard to try to return it. They told me that they sell the product exclusively to Staples, and that since I bought it through a 3rd party they will not honor the warranty.
