I was shocked to see that they want everything bagged in any paper of plastic bags you have available but not compostable ones as their machinery has difficulty removing the bags from the contents and it cannot be converted in the digesters. Then I see that in all local shops, the only type of caddy liners available are all compostable. This is unbelievable! So I needed to buy plastic bags, knowing that they will all end up ripped away from the contents and either burned in an energy from waste plant, or dumped into landfill. What a world we live in but that's the way of it and I bought these, then decided no, I'm going to have a compost bin and keep all the food waste for myself instead, and keep the bags as souvenirs!
