Not interested in paying a high price for the popular brand, (over hyped and over priced in my opinion) I was recommended this brand as the most beneficial. I caught a sale in the double pack. I tried it in water first and washed it right down. It’s not bad. A mild nutty flavor. Quite pleasant. I now add it to some flavored drink mix in water (crystal light, cool-ade for a few examples) I let it sit for a minute or two to let it begin to gel. Not too long as to let it get too thick. I drink it right down within 3 minutes time. I like the texture and flavor, even with the flavored drink mix. I started with 1 teaspoon twice a day to eliminate any gastric disturbance. I now take 1 tablespoon twice a day. I have had no issues with gas or gut pain. I have noticed I am very full after my meal. I read some people don’t like the texture. It’s fiber people. It’s supposed to be a bit gritty. But saying that, I find this brand to have no grit with this type of psyllium fiber. It has texture but no grit. Kinda like when you eat tapioca. I personally like the flavor and texture. It’s said you can add it to yogurt or pudding if you have any issues.
