Review: I love this mug! - I love this mug so much. I like being able to cradle my coffee mug in the mornings and this is mug sized and has the loop to wrap around my hand. Its perfect. I also like the measurement markers on the inside, very handy for cooking dehydrated meals. Mostly though, I love this because it keeps my coffee warm while I drink it even in the cold, and gives me the cozy feeling I desire because I can cradle it in my hands. Its nice and lightweight, easy to take with me backpacking, and does everything I want a mug to do. I would give this 10 stars if I could.
Review: Great 17oz mug, even for small hands! - I really like this mug. It's light and easy to clean. The insulated cozy does a pretty good job of keeping my coffee warm, and I really like the flexible handle. One thing I will note is that I drink out of it with my whole hand through the handle, gripping the mug itself. I have very small hands, so the handle actually allows me to hold the cup comfortably without worrying that I'll lose my grip on it. The lid seals surprisingly well for a non-screw on lid. I have to make sure the drinking tab is open when I put the lid on with the mug full of hot coffee because otherwise the air pressure won't let me put it on all the way. I've done some trials of turning it upside down full of hot coffee and not a drop of leakage! I've noticed that when I first got it, the cup sat very, very snugly in the cozy, but over a few weeks of use it's loosened up. One reviewer said that they clipped it onto the outside of their pack and then the cup fell out and they lost it, and I agree that that is a danger. I think I'm going to add a bit of nylon webbing with a patch of velcro on either end to loop over the lid, so that I can clip it to the outside of my pack without worries. However, it also fits perfectly in the side water bottle pockets of both of my packs... so maybe it'll just live there. Love how much liquid it holds and it looks cool. Also, the plastic of the mug itself doesn't seem to take on the smell of what was in it, which I really appreciate.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is it BPA free?**
A: After doing some research, although in retrospect, I may have wanted to do the research earlier.  GSI has always had some of the more reliable gear and this product is no different.  The cup itself is made out of polypropelene which doesn't leach in either direction and is bpa free and safe!  After having used it several time, going back and forth from boiling hot coffee to iced cold water, I can tell you that the coffee taste does not leach into the cup!

**Q: Is there a replacement oring or seal for this?**
A: Just buy a new one if you’ve wore it out.

**Q: How can I wash the outside sleeve?**
A: You could hand wash with mild soap or put through washer with cold water but I would not recommend putting it in the dryer. Towel or air dry for best results and minimum wear/tear.

**Q: are these stackable?**
A: If by stackable you’re asking if they’ll nest together, then no, they won’t.

I really like this mug. It's light and easy to clean. The insulated cozy does a pretty good job of keeping my coffee warm, and I really like the flexible handle. This thing is awesome. It’s been my ultralight backpacking cup for years. Keeps things warm for long enough to drink them. Easy to pack, easy to clean. You get used to the handle really quickly. Just bought a replacement for one that I misplaced.
