    Replaced Unusual Diameter Post

Solid feel.Saddle clamp loosened after 200 miles because I forgot to put thread locker compound on the screw. Firm re-tightening did not strip the threads.Successfully replaced an old 26.6mm post that seized and to be hacked out. Replacement's wall thickness is 3mm or more.Easy to cut shorter using a pipe cutter or hacksaw.Tip: coat with anti-seize compound before inserting into frame

    Functional, Not Pretty

Not as high quality as other brands.  The post is well made but the top where you mount the seat is pretty junky.  It appears that these two parts may be made of different metals, or perhaps it's the finish. Also, there are numbers/letters printed on it as shown in the picture.  Never seen anything like that on a bike seatpost.  I'm sure it will do the job, but it's not pretty.  It's five dollars cheaper than the Kalloy brand I was considering.  Would have gone with that one if I had to do it again.

I was surprised at the quality for such a low price. Very light and so adjustable. I didn't realize how adjustable until I saw the little ridges in the mounting hardware. You can fit this to any bike and any angle. The little dimples they put into the post will also keep it from slipping sideways. My clamp was always so tight and now I just flip it over and it holds. Highly recommend this. I have 2 extra posts now as this one is a keeper.
