A poster that is exactly the size of the puzzle is provided, though that's not always helpful since most of the colors are dark, and Van Gogh's style was very painterly--i.e., it's difficult to tell where one area ends and another begins. Puzzle pieces are sturdy and colors match the picture. Fit well. The full sized poster was a great addition because it is large enough to see the fine details. Fairly difficult puzzle. Ignore the "zone" lettering on the backs of the pieces - that really just changes it into 6 or 8 (I don't remember now how many zones there were) smaller, easier puzzles. My only real complaint is that the colors are not even close to the original. But, that's a minor quibble.
