## Description

The Sidewinder Rescue military light is a slim, lightweight, and versatile personal lighting solution designed for emergency situations, rescue operations, and tactical use. It can function as a life-saving beacon during distress or swift water rescues, offering high visibility in all directions thanks to its sliding lens, which is ideal for signaling in low-visibility environments. This multi-functional light includes White, Green, Blue, and IR LEDs, each with four adjustable brightness levels, providing optimal illumination for various conditions. Whether you hold it, attach it to your MOLLE gear, or mount it on your helmet, the Sidewinder Rescue is engineered for hands-free use and convenience. Its high-impact, weather-resistant design and 185 Degree tilting head ensure durability and the ability to direct the light exactly where it's needed. Additionally, it supports multiple battery types, ensuring reliable operation even in extreme temperatures. The Aviation Model features all four LED colors, making it suitable for a range of specialized applications.

Review: Awesome flashlight! - Awesome flashlight!!! I already have the sidewinder compact II. The rescue model is an excellent addition to the compact II military. The compact I use as a head lamp at work nights( I do telecom cellular site work for a major carrier and we have a work maintenance window from 11pm to 5am). It gets really abused; dropped of ladder, in my pocket with bolts and screws, rained and snowed on, left in the truck in sub zero weather here in Chicago. Works flawless, the lens surprisingly has no scratches. If you need a light for work or camping I recommend buying the compact first; as it can work as a headlamp and can use cr123a, AA, AAA ( streamlight doesn't advertise AAA but they still work even when shaking the light) manufactured to milspec standard. The diffused on the rescue model provides multidirectional light. Works like a hand flare. If youre looking for functionality and reliability this is your light. Edit: November 11, 2024 Both lights still work great. The rubber battery compartament on the compact 2 dried out, but that's normal, considering I didn't use any Vaseline on it. Streamlight sent me 2 new o rings and a new headstrap, with mount. Excellent customer service from Streamlight.
Review: Brighter - Brighter than previous model, came with both belt and flat plate for magnetic clip. Also has nice sliding defuser.

I was looking for a small waterproof flashlight to take camping and to work. I am impressed with this light and will be buying another in the future. I keep this light on me most of the time. I use it more than mt phone camera light. I use rechargeable AA batteries hasn’t let me down yet. Feels good in my hand. It’s a very handy device. Five stars. Will buy again
