If your NVME card is one of the shorter types (40 or 60mm long) you'll need to gently bend down the plastic tags along the card length to seat the card down properly without bending it, easily done.Achieved roughly 460 MB/s read and write via USB A 3.1 and USB-C with the adapter, which is pretty near full speed for the Samsung 850 card I had. Excellent and very cheap way of re-using old cards. The only downside was the that USBA end of the included cable fell apart on the 5th insertion and removal!
