Review: Perfect for Home Assistant ZHA - These are the perfect bulbs for direct to Home Assistant integration. I started off with Matter over Wifi bulbs that also paired directly to Home Assistant but none of the models I tried could remember power off or previous state so you got woken up with a flash of light anytime the power flickered at night. These worked perfectly out of the box, the previous state actually works so no more flicker, and they power up down much faster than every wifi model I tried. Worked perfect with ZHA and no quirks needed. Additionally, the colors are spectacular. CRI is true and the entire spectrum is more vibrant. Direct comparison to Hue. Spend the extra couple bucks over cheaper wifi bulbs and get these for Home Assistant!!
Review: Nice bulbs - work well with Philips Bridge (unless you have a wall dimmer) - I like these because they are 1/2 the price of the Hue bulbs and work the same from my untrained eye. I do not care if the color is a little off because I can't tell anyway. I am just setting them to what looks nice to me. The range is pretty amazing and the closest thing out there to actual Hue bulbs, from what I can tell. I am NOT an Internet of Things or Smart Home fan. I think it's creepy and a lot of those products were not made with privacy in mind. However, nice mood lighting is right up my alley so these are pretty cool. Unless you connect them to Ale*a or another surveillance system masquerading as a consumer product your privacy should remain as-is. I inherited a Hue Bridge from my boyfriend's son, and just basically downloaded the Hue app and bought some lights. That's how easy the basic level of use for this tech is. Side note: wall dimmers will present an issue. I was able to solve a problem paring with the kitchen lights in the picture by turning off the wall dimmer switch they were on and turning on a non-dimmer switch that also controls those lights and using that power source for the paring process. So be aware that if your only wall switch for controlling a light or set of lights is also a dimmer you might have issues? Not sure. Honestly, I was pretty proud of my 51-year-old self for figuring that out all on my own - look mom I'm a big girl now! :) I would recommend these. I have 6 total - 4 new and 2 that are bout 3 months old - and they are all working great!

**Q: Do these come on automatically after a power outage or do they remember their previous state?**
A: They go on at their previous ON state. For example: Set the lamp to 30% brightness, red. Turn the lamp off via the app. Power goes out, comes back on again. Lamp will go on at 30% brightness, red.

**Q: How do you change the default color the bulb uses when turning on (mine default to a deep red) with the Philips Hue Bridge?**
A: You could start a scene instead of turning on the bulb with the app. But it is not possible to set the power-on behaviour after using the physical light switch.

**Q: If i connect this with philips hue i can use with homekit?**
A: No, unfortunately HomeKit is not compatible. Only Hue products that are connected to the Hue bridge are HomeKit compatible.

**Q: I am having difficulty configuring these lights to work with Siri. Is that even possible?**
A: I don’t think these work with Apple HomeKit, so I’d imagine Siri is a no? If they’re part of a scene in something like Philips Hue, then you should be able to use Siri to activate the scene and then the Hue Hub would turn them on. I believe... I personally don’t like voice assistants but I use these bulbs as an expansion to my Philips Hue system and my Hue app works fine with them.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not great for outdoor use

I purchased a set of 4 to start replacing WiFi color bulbs from a different brand, as my goal is 100% local connectivity via Home Assistant. They are bright, have good color accuracy, respond instantly to state/color change, and setup/Zigbee pairing was super simple. They also support direct binding via switches and remotes. I installed 2 on the exterior of my garage. Initially the connection seemed spotty. I added a smart plug nearby to act as a router, and they now seem to have a stable connection.
