My current unit has the wires connected to the back of the unit.** A: Hello, this unit has 4 terminals at the back, 2 terminals L(L1) and N(L2) on one end, this is where you connect the power to supply the thermostat, and at the other end you have 2 terminals for the Load (heater) No's 1 and 4. The thermostat also has an option to connect a floor sensor, this connection is accessible behind the screen. **Q: I install it and after couple months it says ground is missing what I need to do to fix it** A: Is it possible the thermostat message is "Ground fault"? If, during normal operation, the GFCI trips, or thermostat shows "Ground fault", it is possible your heater has a ground fault! To check whether it is a ground fault or nuisance tripping, press “Standby/Reset”. If this causes the red LED to stop flashing and stay off, it was nuisance tripping and the system is operating correctly. If this does not occur, there is a ground fault!
