Right, Zach? *by K***N on May 1, 2013* Deadly Premonition was a budget title that was released on the 360 exclusively in 2012. Let's just say it was and still is the most quirky, and one of the most polarizing games of all time, getting a 10/10 from Destructoid, while getting a 2/10 from IGN.It's great though.Story : Funny as hell, memorable characters, and just plain entertaining and spellbinding. Heavy Rain has nothing on this 10/10Sound : Music used in the most inappropriate places is not only intriguing, but hilarious nonetheless. 9/10Graphics : The actual graphics are sub par, there's no beating around the bush. But the visual style is fantastic and isn't a hinder whatsoever because the poor textures actually add to the Twin Peaks/B-Movie style. Framerate sucks though, that's a negative. 8/10Gameplay : Really fun for a budget game, it's open world and it is BLAST to drive around Greenvale listening to Francis York Morgan, ( Just call him York, everyone else does ) talk to his imaginary friend Zach about the history of "Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes" and how the original was 67 minutes, but got restored to 90. I love this game. 9.5/10Overall - 9.5/10, if it wasn't for the inconsistent framerate, this would've been the best game to play at this state.So says Mr. Stewart. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Underrated *by N***B on February 24, 2025* Deadly Premonition is a very underrated Investigative Horror game. The visuals are a bit dated where they sit somewhere between PS2 and Wii graphics hitting 720p. Thats really the only gripe, though that adds to some of the elements to the games scenic atmosphere. Secondly, the game play can be a bit repetitive and tedious at times. Lastly, the dialogue can be pretty horrible and the story, simply confusing; yet, it's incredibly fun and quite charming with it's interesting set of characters and engaging tasks. Great game!You take on the role of FBI Special Agent Francis York Morgan, as you investigate the mysteries surrounding the gruesome murder of a young woman named Anna Graham in small town called Greenvale.Aside from game play that feels like a clash of Resident Evil 4 meets Silent Hill, you'll have the opportunity to travel all over Greenvale in an open-world environment similar to the setting of David Lynch's Twin Peaks.I just wished Amazon had given me a DLC code that was not invalid.
