Multi channel recording is also possible with the addition of a computer. You will also need a "AVB" router if more than 2 units are connected together. (right now an AVB router starts at $400.00) **Q: I have a RM32ai mixer and am using a 27" dell touch screen monitor for control. Although it is nicely built, the case is in the Cecily. ### ⭐⭐ Presonus DAW frustration. *by T***S on March 11, 2019* This review deals with cs18ai functioning as control surfaces to Studio One 3/4 version.This mixer has the same DAW abilities as the "DAW" function in series III and above mixers. Main points for cs18ai and series III mixers.I. Frustrating to connect to Studio One (3 version an 4) .The set I am using: From cs18ai sent Ethernet cable to wireless router. Studio one will be visible from mixers UCnet. This connection takes care off the "control part".USB cable from mixer to computer. This takes care off sound in and out.II. DAW does not properly controls fat channel and other plugins either , so mouse is in need.Bottom line, DAW mode in these mixers are in infancy period. But, a used cs18ai less than 3-400 hundred is ok if you want to do 50% of what a Proper DAW function should be.Not sure entirely, but the Faderport 16 must be limited as well, since Series III is.
