There are a few jurisdictions in Oregon where lock blade knives must have blades under 3" to be carried in a pocket or otherwise concealed. In addition, if a group of strangers is around, and I need to cut something it would be nice to have something smaller and less scary looking. Since the knife is smaller than those I like to use, I wanted it to be as light as possible so I would be willing to carry it even though I had a bigger knife with me. This mini Bugout by Benchmadeis perfect. The blade opens and closes easier than any of my others. However, I cannot open or close it with one hand. My hand is too big for the tiny knife to be in the right orientation for that. No surprise. The blade is razor sharp.
