This is a very small very bright keychain light. **Q: Why does the description say 650 lumens then say 550 lumens at “ about this item” ? Do you even know?** A: I think you or the describer are getting 2 models confused. The 650 lumens is the upgraded model. The 550 lumens is the older model. The new upgraded model has a circle button, while the old model has a digger oval pill shaped button. Just make sure it reads 2019 or newer on "first available date" on the Amazon page. Hope this helps. **Q: Does polyamide dissipates heat well or I should go for a metal light?** A: Hmmmm... Lipstick on the Right; flashlight on the left. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nichia! *by on Reviewed in the United States January 31, 2022* Well RoxyVon makes great little flashlights it's a fact. In fact for the size the 650 and 700 Lumen Cree x3 are the brightest little tiny flashlights you can buy.But oh the Nichia, while not as bright are a true color led and invaluable if you want the illuminated objects or area to be true to life color, or colour depending on where you're located.I'm using this little gem to look at precious and semi precious stones. Fire opal, agate, opal, jasper, petrified wood, tourmaline etc.And compared to a Cree or even an Osram the Nichia keeps the colors true to life and vibrant and gems especially opals look more washed out with the Cree, Olight, or Osram less. Although olight does have warmer led's they're still not as rich and accurate as the Nichia ones.This light is still a cracker with the Cree version and will suit most people awesomely. However if you want true to life color and not towards blue this Nichia version is the ticket.Both are durable, water resistant/proof and super small and have decent battery life. Operation can take a bit to get used to but after that it's a breeze.The photos I have submitted have the Nichia on the left and Osram (tiny 2) on the right. You can see a subtle difference in the depth of the reds. The effect is more pronounced with the naked eye and would be even more pronounced with a Cree led which is more blue (cold) than even Osram.Anyways whatever version I highly recommend this tiny flashlight! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Almost) absolutely perfect for my criteria *by on Reviewed in the United States May 24, 2026* Nearly perfect. It’s mostly a solid polymer and I like that because it’s less likely to scratch things in my pocket. And it’s so lightweight.It’s bright, with a nice selection of brightness levels for comfortable use from a distance or up close. The high CRI 5000K LED is exactly what I was looking for. Better for color reproduction but it’s also just easier on the eyes! A little warmer and not so sterile! [I tried to make the white balance in my picture to match the real-life color temp. It’s close but not quite there.]The beam pattern has a center but it has plenty of spill which I like for wearing on a hat. It’s not the cleanest beam but whatever! Can we not be a princess about that? Esp at this price point?The button functions are mapped nicely. I like that this has momentary-on functionality. And I am hoping the recessed button will prevent accidental presses. It also has a nice subtle tactile click unlike the Fenix E03R V2, which has a click but very soft and mushy. I kind of wished the memory function applied to the momentary-on as well as continuous. But I think it also makes sense the way it is, to have the momentary mode to be bright and the constant-mode’s brightness is what is stored in memory.DOWNSIDES: it comes with two rings for a keychain and replacement cover for the USB-C port (which does feel fragile). That’s it. I wish it came with the optional magnetic base. And the clip is FLIMSY—it will fall off if I clip the light onto my hat too haphazardly. What a shame. I guess I’ll have to try modding it somehow.It remains to be seen how reliable and durable it is. Other reviews seem not too optimistic but we’ll see.Btw I thought I got a defective model but all the lenses have what *looks* like a chip on the glass/crystal.
