Quality Material and Well Made *by P***F on Reviewed in the United States on September 15, 2015* This is a beautiful skirt! I own about 5 denim skirts by Style J and love the styles they offer. I always get lots of compliments on them. They're comfortable and suitable for summer through winter, being of a medium weight demin. The only complaint I have is, "Seriously, why so long?" Admittedly I'm only 4'11 but to wear this skirt I have to wear boots with a 2.5" platform and a 6" heel which boosts me up to the average height for a woman 5'5" and this skirt still brushes the floor. I love long denim skirts but I wish Style J would make their longer styles with the average woman in mind and not a 5'8 model, or at least give options on the length. I didn't knock off any stars for this because the measurements are clearly stated with the skirt so you know what you're getting. An issue I do have with Style J is their strange sizing. You will not wear your normal size in these skirts. Pay close attention to the measurements they list with each skirt and if you're on the boreline, order up a size. I usually wear a size 4 denim skirt, I'm 34-26-34. According to their measurement table I'd wear a size 6. The first Style J skirt I bought, I purchased a size 6 and had to return it for a size 8. I now buy size 8's in all Style J skirts. The size 6 fit but it was hard to pull up over my hips and I knew if it shrunk or if I gained a pound I'd be in trouble. So order up a size. The quality is always very good and the styles are terrific and the prices are fair. The quality of the jean material is excellent. It is thick, but flowy. I received many compliments while wearing it. One thing, the waist is very tiny in a size 10. I tried it on, it fit around my waist when buttoned up. However, it made a huge muffin top. I gave it to my daughter and ordered a size 12. The size 12 was too big around the waist. So I returned the size 12 and took the size 10 back from my daughter. Sorry, sweetie! The muffin top doesn't show if I wear a long flowy top. I am 5ft 8inches tall. The skirt comes to my feet, but does not hit the ground. It is the perfect length. For help in sizing, I am 153 pounds. Resulting in a very roomy fit, almost too loose. But it rests on hips where I wanted it to.I'm going to keep the size 12 and maybe alter the waist, as I fear a waist that is too tight in my usual size 10.This skirt is cute! Drapes nicely as the denim is soft and pliable. Nicely conducted...
