Acrylicos Vallejo 85 ml Liquid Mask is a water-based, transparent masking fluid designed to protect areas from paint in airbrush, watercolor, and tempera projects. It applies smoothly with brush or pen, dries to a matte, lightweight film, and removes easily by peeling or rubbing. ## Description

Water based formula, use with brush or pen. Liquid Mask is used to reserve areas which are to remain unpainted, especially in airbrush techniques, but also with watercolours and temperas. The product forms a protective film on the area which the artists does not want to paint. Once the work is dry, liquid mask is rubbed off with an eraser or piece of cloth, revealing the unpainted area. Shake lightly and test on surface before use. Do not leave applied for a long time. To remove, peel or rub carefully once dry. Keep from freezing. Warning! Contains natural rubber (Latex), may cause sensitization by skin contact.

**Q: Is this white?**
A: The product is to be removed when dome but it dries almost transparent with I small tint of blue

A: Hello, thank you for the question.

I have only used this product for masking model kits and pairing with acrylic paints. I don’t know if it will work for water color

**Q: Can I use it to protect handles and hinges on cabinets I'm painting?**
A: I would not use this product to keep paint from getting onto my cabinet hardware. It is very thin and is to be used on a surface like paper or canvas. I am using this mask on my canvas or paper to block another paint from covering the color I wish to keep. then when the new color of paint is dry, I gently rub off the mask and the color I protected is true. I would use painter's masking tape to protect your cabinet hardware.

**Q: I prime painted the entire surface. If I use this on part of the surface, will it remove the primer when I take this mask off?**
A: As long as primer is good and dry it shouldn't
