You could easily identify these electrical connectors through their different colors and wire gauge markings and you could quickly choose the right connectors.Allows you to easily shrink tubing without melting wire coating. Review: Require a lot of heat from the heat gun, but work flawlessly - This is the first time I had purchased or used crimp connectors like this (typically I have just used crimp connectors without the heat shrink shell). I was pleased in their performance, although they do seem to have a shorter internal crimp metal section than typical union connectors. I was able to get used to that with these, however. Upon crimping and conducting a pull test, they held up well. Also the heat shrink shell would require more heat than I expected but would definitely shrink down tight, even on slightly smaller gauge wires or doubled up wires on one end of the crimp. I used this on my utility trailer first, and that thing is exposed to a lot of water and dirt due to it being a flatbed snowmobile type trailer with the wheels directly underneath. These connectors enabled me to make a much more durable connection with the wiring underneath the trailer. I trust that it will be much more solid for years to come as a result. Will save me a lot of time not having to repair the wires in a year or two.
