Often inexpensive leather gloves come with only a small hook tag for retail or "tied" to a cardboard holder. Packaging was a little creased but that's probably to be expected since Amazon sent them in one of their unpadded envelopes.This pair is a true navy. For comparison I added a photo with a Frances Valentine tote in the color "ink." So pleased that they are close to that color. These are a size 8 and feel only slightly large to me. I could probably have sized down but sometimes lined gloves run small so I'm pleased with the size as is. Stitching is well done and all the seams are tight and flat. No puckers or bumps. Leather is a little shiney for my taste but appears very good quality for the price point. They definitely have a leather smell when you open the packaging.I've only tested once outside but I am also pleased with how warm they felt in 25 degree weather. Comparing to other inexpensive lined leather gloves (from Costco), these are much warmer. (The real test will come holding an ice cold steering wheel for the 20 min drive home from work. Will try to update after that trial.)Touchscreen capability works well albeit they're a little stiff when brand newOverall very pleased with the quality, packaging and function. The small went to my granddaughter; and seeing how small they were I ordered two sizes up. Glad I did because the fit well in the hands, but the fingers are long. I have long nails, so it is not too much of a problem, but would have preferred the glove to fit normally. I took the advice of previous reviews and ordered in a size larger than I typically wear, they fit well because of that. They are a little short though barely covering my wrist bones.
