The paper should fluoresce, but when you pass the beam through the safety glasses, it should not do anything at all. No fluorescence behind the lens. You might even be able to take the light to the store and tests the glasses while still in their package. **Q: How do you switch from 365nm to 395nm?** A: You would need two separate uv flashlights. It really lights up anything fluorescent and you can find some pretty nasty stuff you didn't even know was there. Pet urine is kind of hard to find but it does work and my house is cleaner now!
