Every household should have one of these regardless of whether you sew. On one half is a standard size seam ripper, the other half is a handy smaller version. Both ends have caps that are very secure and hard to pull off so children cannot get into it. The fat handle is really comfortable to use for larger seam ripping jobs. I would definitely buy another for spare. ### ⭐ Dangerous junk *by M***E on November 19, 2016* I was really excited about this seam ripper; however, my disappointment was quickly destroyed. I like how it had two different sizes to chose from. The caps are difficult to pull off. There have been times I was afraid I would stab myself attempting to pull the cap off. I figured the cap would loosen over time. Unfortunately that changed last night. One end of the seam ripper pushed almost completely in, which makes that side unusable. This is very disappointing since I've barely had it a month and have barely used it. I have only used it on light jobs so there isn't a reason for this to have happened.
