Great color for mixed heritage skin tones. *by H***E on Reviewed in the United States on August 20, 2017* I bought the 6-8 size for my daughter who had just turned 6. She's average sized, maybe a little on the small side, and generally wears XS and some 5T clothing and this just fit with only a little room to grow. This solved our problem of itchy costumes and her newfound modesty in the dressing rooms! It was hidden under all of her costumes. I have seen other girls with theirs showing a lot and spoiling the look of their costumes. Hopefully it will fit for next year's performance too. The "light suntan" was perfect on her half Mexican, half German skin. Nude leos are way too light on her and all that was available in the stores. The one we received had metal clips (not plastic as some reviewers received) that held the straps without any problems at all. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great leotard, would buy again but it does run small! *by A***. on Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2013* I read the other reviews prior to purchasing this leotard for my 8 year old daughter. She is 49" tall and 60lbs and typically a size 8 in regular clothing. Based on the other reviewers commenting on the sizing running small, I purchased the size 12-14. With the adjustable straps set to the smallest setting, it fits her perfectly and she will definately have some room to grow. It is made of nice soft spandex type material but it doesn't seem clingy like a spandex (just soft and pliable). I have just purchased it and haven't yet washed it so I can't comment on durability or whether it will shrink when washed (but I doubt it will shrink much at all because of the material it's made out of). Great leotard and I'm sure I'll be purchasing more in the future. Just beware of how small the sizing runs.
