Review: Excellent Bluetooth Speakers - These speakers Rock! Great depth of sound, bass and clarity! No remote but no nonsense. Bluetooth is easy, press and hold button in the back to put into pair mode. So far they have paired well with many devices, old and new, easily! I love that I can have stereo sound sent to them over Bluetooth, reducing the wires in the house. Only one pair of wires go between the two speakers, and you plug the main one into a wall outlet. Very nice bass and treble controls, as well as a volume control. All turn easily but not too easily, just right. There are many jacks for line in and Mic, as well as headphones! Very expensive feel to these, yet they are affordable!
Review: I love these little guys - I'm not an "audiophile" nor do I do recording. But I'm a bit snobby and pretty picky. I hate that most speakers and headphones accentuate bass or treble too much and I miss my mids. I had a pair of Edirol (Roland) monitors that I loved but they died and are no longer made, so I ended up going with these. I waited a while to post this review. I think I've had them 6 months or so. Sometimes initial impressions don't pan out, and practicality takes time to judge. I love these speakers more than my old ones. Very flat response to my ears. As close to my ATH-M50 headphones as I imagine I'd ever get w/ bookshelf sized speakers. High hats come through great, bass is very reasonable, and the midrange tones aren't washed out. Working from home for COVID, they've been pushed into duty as my primary computer speakers and do really well at that too. Going from video conferencing to listening to music doesn't require software EQ changes for either. I didn't think the Bluetooth would be handy, but I've used it a lot with my phone to play music and later paired an Alexa with it. I handles the computer being plugged in and the multiple bluetooth devices without any hastle. And the audio quality via Bluetooth sounds fine to me, unlike any headphones I've tried (I probably just haven't been willing to spend enough there). If you want booming bass, then these are probably not for you. You'll need bigger woofers or a sub. But I listen to a wide variety of music, and it all sounds right to me. It's not so much that I ever think "wow, these sound so great," it's that I never cringe thinking they sound wrong. I'm an "album guy" from being a kid with records, tapes, and CDs. I've listened to a lot that I have memorized through these. These are albums where when the gap between songs is off from the original media I have a moment of confusion, I couldn't listen to MP3s of in the early 2000's because they sounded "wrong", or I haven't been able to tolerate on road trips because the car stereo + highway noise kills the mid range. This is a list of some albums I had ingrained in my head before I got these and have enjoyed through them. Because I am an omnivore, one or more might be relevant to you: - Booker T. and The MG's discography - Can's "Tago Mago" and "Ege Bamyasi" - Gojira's "Magma" - Husker Du's "Zen Arcade" and "New Day Rising" - Johnny Cash's prison albums - Kendrick Lemar's discography - Kraftwerk's "Autobahn" and "Trans-Europe Express" - Massive Attack through Mezzanine - Meat Puppets II - Metallica through the "Black Album" - Nirvana's discography - Pavement's discography - Portishead's original albums - Slint's "Spiderland" - Stevie Wonder's "Talking Book" through "Songs in the Key of Life" - Talking Head's first three albums and "Stop Making Sense" - Television's "Marquee Moon" - The Beatles' discography - Wu-Tang's "36 Chambers" and the GZA's "Liquid Swords" - Yes's "Fragile" These little speakers met my expectations in audio quality for the bookshelf size, and exceeded my expectations for ease of use with multiple inputs. Months later, I am very happy with a purchase I was very nervous about.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this come with all the cables?**
A: It comes with all of the cables required to make a power connection and stereo sound connection from your computer. It does not provide TRS or XLR cables for balanced connection, nor does it come with a DAC or headset to plug into it. You need to do your own shopping.

**Q: Looking into getting these speakers to plug into a turntable, are they high fidelity? Will they produce good sound?**
A: Yes

**Q: I need a longer cable that comes with this speaker, it's the combined red/black cable with exposed tips. What is this cable called? Link please?**
A: I believe that's just called speaker wire. But it can come in all different sizes so just be aware of that.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ On a budget pro mixing and mastering
*by S***G on November 4, 2021*

I wasn't sure if these monitors would be sufficient enough to handle a professionally done mastering project, but after completing a few on ableton and cross referencing, I was convinced that it could handle pretty much and job. I suggest using a monitoring station or something similar and add a subwoofer on a seperate channel. These monitors are crisp, clean very affordable. Combined with the sub you can achieve studio quality mixes and mastering. To achieve a more accurate response of the sounds projected from these monitors, I would suggest not to have them too far from your listening position. Reason is it makes you turn up the level too high sometimes which can lead to inacurate frequency response, ear exhaustion and not to mention tinnitus. If there is a carrying case that is also affordable I'll probably buy one to take along to studios or when traveling. Presonus did good on this one. Thumbs up
