As other reviewers stated, two of the hose clamps included were too small and I had to buy some. I also had no luck getting the heat shield mounted in the car. I decided to leave it out for now. I plan to try again later and probably make some small modifications to the mounting z brackets to get it to fit. As far as the actual performance of the intake, absolutely love it! I can definitely feel the added torque and the intake noise when the mivec system kicks in is amazing. The looks of the engine bay is greatly improved. I will get the heat shield installed, but only 4 stars because of the clamps and install issues. Overall the performance is awesome and I would buy another in a heartbeat! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Disappointing - fitment issues / modification required *by M***S on August 22, 2019* Spent the extra money on K&N because I wanted a no comprises solution for my daily driver that would “just work”. For as big of a name as K&N is I expected more. Packaging was fine and I’m all for less money wasted on packaging if the product is cheaper. But this at $300 I expected more. Packaging was very cheap and that set the tone for my entire install. As others mentioned the mounts on the heat shield didn’t line up correctly and the hose clamp to my filter was too small. The first I could reasonably see being variations with MY and trim level. But the hose clamp too?? Honestly this is just unacceptable. I purchased a no name cat back for this car and it bolted right up. So what are you really paying more for with this? Would not recommend and this really changed my opinion of K&N. If I were to do it again I would go with a lesser name or no name intake for significantly less. Can’t comment on performance as I also did a TB bypass and replaced a VVT solenoid during install but it sounds and looks nice.
