Review: Baby Brother - I was given a 1/2" drive version of this tool for Christmas and am impressed with its quality and value. I've been a DIY car guy my whole life and have always owned a torque wrench, my old one got so worn I can't read the numbers on half the scale anymore so I asked for a new one. I was impressed with it for the price point and it is consistent with my old one best I can tell. Well, then the need arose for an inch pound model to set the pinion bearing preload on a rear end I'm building, so I ordered this little guy. The enclosed documentation says it's accurate, as you increase the tension it adjusts consistently. I have no reason to believe it's not doing exactly what it is designed to do. The click isn't as audible as I'd like but you can feel it just fine. It should make a great little addition to my weekend warrior arsenal of tools. I don't know why, but I thought it'd be bigger. It's so small it's kinda cute. It looks hilarious with a 1/4 to 3/8 adapter, a 3/8 to 1/2 adapter, and a 34mm deep impact socket on it, but it'll do the job just fine.

**Q: Where is torque wrench made?**

**Q: many low torque wrench has little sound at low torque, does this one make click sound at 50inlbs below?**
A: The click is audible, but only just. My first bolt I torque with this, I was expecting a "THUNK" like the ft-lb cousin, but considering the torque we're working with is extremely low, the less than audible "THUNK" should be expected. When using this one, go slow, and rely more on the feel than the sound, as you'll get a "THUNK" you can feel in your hands when you get to the required spec.

**Q: Sorry for the newbie question. Example: is an 80ft/lbs torque the same on a 1/4”,  3/8” or 1/2” torque wrench?**
A: Well, first of all, a typical 1/4" torque wrench can't handle anywhere near 80 ft-lbs of force. Most can't even handle 20 ft-lbs and in any case use in-lbs, not ft-lbs. Similarly, many 1/2" and larger wrenches can't handle values below 20 ft-lbs. But, assuming that a torque wrench can handle a given torque value, then it's the same across different torque wrench sizes. I.e. 15 ft-lbs is the same on a 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", etc., wrench. This is aside from accuracy issues, which are more pronounced approaching the lower and upper limits of a torque wrench's range. But in theory, the force should be exactly the same regardless of the wrench size. In practice, though, you use smaller wrenches for lower values and larger wrenches for higher values.

This 1/4" drive 20-200 in-lb torque wrench is well worth it. It looks good and feels solid. My first time using it was 72, 108, and 192in-lbs and it had a clear click and crisp break over each time. It works great I'm very happy with it
