They’re nice and warm, very lightweight and supportive on my ankles. They’re fully waterproof and have a good grip along the bottom.Fit is pretty good. I usually wear a euro shoe size 36.5 and got these in a 37: they fit nicely and have room for some thicker socks when it’s colder. Tested in light rain and snow as well as ice and they have coped well. Probably the best boots I've ever owned for walking on ice and slush. They are incredibly comfortable, just like wearing trainers, and didn’t need breaking in at all. They have a modest amount of arch support but I believe the inner soles are removable if you need to wear them with orthotics. Wore these every day on holiday in Canada in March where temperatures were -10C or below and they kept my feet really warm.I have found that all Sorel footwear comes up small so I would recommend ordering a size up.
