Review: Great kit for the price! - This kit was put together really well. I was able to get everything installed and working in just a couple hours. The most time was spent routing the positive cable through the fire wall and under the rubber mat to the rear of the van. I ended up having 3 or four feet of extra red cable that i cut off. I plan to run the yellow wire to a switch to toggle a ground connection to allow starting off the auxillary battery incase the main battery is dead.

I will update my review if that should happen. For now I am happy as the included 15 feet of 2 AWG wire is worth the price of the unit... **Q: How long are the lengths of wire in this kit?**
A: the ground wire was shorter than I expected, approximately 20 inches as I recall

**Q: Can i hook a switch up to this isolator the change wich battery i want to use?**
A: As long as both batteries are in good shape it keeps both charged so you shouldn't need to do that

**Q: will this isolator cut off when house battery is fully charged ?**
A: This isolatordesigned to only charge house battery from altnator after start battery reaches a certain voltage and to stop draw on start battery below a specified voltage

**Q: My second battery (trolling motor battery) does not ground to anything.  Should I ground that to the primary battery or the engine block?**
A: You will need to tie the secondary (trolling) battery to the primary in order to charge. Just follow enclosed directions, applies to any 12V system.
