It cleans very well and it's absolutely non sticking even without oil or butter. I tried many recipes, even following youtube recipes, and the waffles always came out horrible and squashed. A friend swore on her recipe so I thought the trouble was the waffle maker until I found a completely different recipe, very thick and dense. Waffles come now out perfect, crunchy outside and soft inside, and they only take a few minutes to cook.
