Toro 89-9861 Replacement Diaphragm for Toro FLO-PRO Valve Replacement Diaphragm for Toro FLO-PRO Valve Toro replacement diaphragm for use with Toro Flo-Pro Valves

- Unscrew the valve bonnet from the valve body
- Remove the valve bonnet assembly and spring
- Gently pry the diaphragm out of it's seat
- Flush out the valve body and seat with clean water
- Press in a new diaphragm
- Replace the spring and the valve bonnet
- Tighten the screws or the hold down ring
- Turn on the water
- Check for leaks

**Q: Does this replace or substitue for Toro 89-0993 diaphragm?  Your picture looks identical.**
A: Yes, this is the same exact part as 89-0993.  It fits the old Flo-Pro Globe Valve

**Q: what is the sprinkler model number this is used on? (this worked for me before in the house I moved into (I think I need might need other parts)**
A: I'm not sure what the model number is because I used this part to repair a customer's system. However, I can tell you that the sprinkler valves that use this part are quite old (I would guess probably from the 1980's). The valves proved to be somewhat unreliable so Toro discontinued them. If you have moved to a newer property that has Toro valves in the ground then you probably cannot use this part for repair purposes. For information about repair parts for newer Toro valves contact the manufacturer.

I have a sprinkler system that was installed in the 1990s, and the original Toro valve diaphragm was the model 89-0993. Thirty years later, the original model can't be found anywhere on the internet. I decided to give this model (89-9861) a try, and despite a slight increase in overall diameter (maybe a millimeter), this model fit in my original valves and works great. Awesome!! - Steve

I replaced the diaphragm in an ancient Toro 280 valve with this product. It took only a few minutes and fixed my leaky valve problem. Very pleased I was saved the aggravation of replacing the valve.
