Review: Surprised - I was expecting this to be an overpriced microphone when I first bought it. I was amazed that it made my voice sound better than my Blue Yeti. I mainly use this in Omni mode even though I'm only just speaking directly at it. The reason why this is better than the Blue Yeti is that it has some sort of noise canceling going on. When I type really loudly on my keyboard, the Mod Mic doesn't pick up the keyboard sounds, while the Blue Yeti does. This is perfect for apps and games when you want to activate your mic with voice activity instead of Push to Talk. It's almost like magic really. I also like how you can orient your mic with the magnetic claps into different positions or take it off entirely. I'm pretty pleased with this.

The cord is definitely too short. But the cord on the microphone is significantly shorter than the one of my headphones. So if I move just out of length the mic rips off the headphones and falls to the floor. The sound quality is pretty good with a low noise floor. And the mute button is nice. There's no good competition and it shows with it's price. Build quality levels a lot to be desired. The magnet attachment broke twice.
