I mixed 4 Oz with 2 gallons of water, added two tables spoons of Dawn dish soap and spot sprayed with my 2-gallon hand sprayer. I could see each crabgrass plant, so I did not need any dye to see what I was spraying. 3 days later, crabgrass is dying, lawn grass is untouched and a week later the crabgrass plants rot! No need to pull them up or disturb the other grasses. This knocked out my crab grass in one shot! I applied late August with crab grass being very will developed in my lawn. It was applied with some MSO as a surfactant and oh my, crab grass was showing some serious signs of death in the first 24 hrs, less than one week later and the crab grass is toast, completely brown and shriveled starting to wilt into compost! I will give it another week and will overseed, the label says seeding is ok within 7-10 days of application.
