If I was going to use it with it's standard gauge pins supplied I would back them up with a good adhesive. Secondly, I would ease back on the pressure, because you will no doubt badly mark the wood, and then finish it off with some light taps with a hammer and pin sinker. Overall, I would really prefer to do the job with straightforward hammer, lost-head nails and countersink. It would probably be easier. **Q: Can this work on MDF skirting boards** A: I'm sorry to tell you that MDF skirting boards are hardwood and need to be up to at least 32mm nails, which this machine may not be able to drive through. And the pneumatic nail gun can meet your needs, it requires an air compressor to drive, but we do not include an air compressor. If necessary, please search for "B0B8891YH9" on Amazon.
