Review: They protect your arms - I bought them because I skin up my arms all of the time and when I wore these arm guards, problem solved. They are warm and maybe too warm in the summer but the protection is worth it. I bought this pair and a pair with gloves on the end and this pair is superior because if you have big hands, if the gloves are too small, they pull down off your arms. The wrist loop works very well. If you cut your arms a lot in the garden, you can't go wrong with a pair of these.

My wrists and forearms seemed to always end up with itchy fiberglass on them in spite of long gloves and jackets with Velcro wrist adjustment. I use these under the gloves and jacket as an additional layer of protection. I have been using them for home diy for a couple of weeks and find that they work very well. They take some getting used to and are a little warm (you're going to sweat a bit), but my arms are protected from fiberglass. I put them in the washer and dryer afterwards and they are ready for the next project!
