How to tune the kalimba: 1.Tuner: Use a tuner or download an App; Android app: gStrings, IOS app: Instuner. 2.Tune with hammer: The pitch of a kalimba tine is governed by the length of that tine which is free to vibrate - the distance between the free end of the kalimba and the bridge. The longer the vibrating section, the lower the note. You need to change the free length of the tines.
