I am using it for accounting record keeping and balancing my checkbook. It really is very nice and sturdy…easy to open and close…it is not a good fit though if you are using 36 column ledger sheets. It is a tight fit to put in place of the three rings, it is a cardboard like plastic material butt sturdy. My accounting ledger paper is only for two ring but I improvised and hole punch for the third hole for the 3rd ring. I would suggest using hole adjusters to keep your paper from falling out of the 3 rings on the notebook. I can make it work so is a keeper in my book. It also has a very nice colorful 8 count 3 rings divider index sheets with labels that I bought as well. I would recommend this binder you can use it for school projects and portfolio for art.
