A: No ... it has not improved.  I ended up making something myself that attached to the harness bar behind the seats.

**Q: Grand Sport Logo to go over the Console Cup Holder**
A: I don't currently offer any GS emblems to apply to this cupholder.  Really the only piece I could find to offer with Grand Sport insignia would be the engine ID spec plate below.  The plate is 7" long and the distance between the openings on this cupholder console is 7 1/2", so it would fit if You are interested. A: Yes it will hold a 16oz water bottle and it comes with tabs that hold it to the carpet no modification required.

It was delivered well packed and as described. But.. the cup holders are very shallow. If you put anything taller than a small coffee in them, even a regular stop will tip them out. Also... did not say you need to poke holes in the carpet to install. I love the idea and construction... but do not want to poke holes in my baby......
