The anchors will never provide a strong anchor. Putting a screw into a stud needs only a small pilot hole and you don't use the anchor at all. It may also be possible to angle a screw into a stud and the small pilot hole helps with that task. **Q: can it be mounted to concrete walls** A: No. It must go in between the tiles. It cannot go thru the tile unless a special concrete drill bit is used & even than it will be quite difficult. **Q: I need somethihng to put on an exterior door frame to help when climbing the step to the house. Will this meet my needs?** A: I used them to aid my wife in shower and climbing into our camper Works well You need to be sure that screws are long enough and into solid backing so they will not pull out. **Q: why can’t I get the cap off the cover that has the screw holes** A: Yea, they come apart but not easily. Place the stuck pieces with the large hole down on a flat surface. Place the tip of a small flat bladed screw driver through the small hall sideways and press the tip down on the inner ring. They will pop apart. No amount of pounding, twisting, cussing or breaking fingernails will work. I speak from experience. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid, secure, and essential for senior safety *by R***T on July 22, 2026* We installed these grab bars in the bathroom for my elderly mother about a year ago, and they've been one of the best safety improvements we've made in our home. To earn a higher rating, the product must be easier to use, more rugged, deliver better-than-expected performance, and go above and beyond the advertising. To do worse is obvious. These were purchased for my octogenarian mother's use. Part of this review is based on her comments. The item was installed by a friend of mine and the second part of the review is based on his comments. Mom finds these very easy to use (they are grab bars after all); however, she likes the size and feel of these better than the other 4 pairs of grab bars we have installed throughout her house. Some of that might be the newness and the fact that they were placed where she needs them most, around the walk-in shower entry. My friend who installed these said it was very easy, and he felt the provided hardware was sturdier than the hardware he has used in other sets (for both my Mom and his). ## Frequently Bought Together - 2 Pack Shower Grab Bar, Stainless Steel Bathroom Grab Bar, Shower Handle Bath Handle, Safety Bars for Shower Chair Bench, Grab Bars Senior, Elderly, Handicap(12 Inch) - 2 Pack 16 Inch Grab Bars for Bathtubs and Showers, Safety Bathroom Shower Grab Bars for Seniors Holds up to 500LBs, Handicap Grab Bars Stainless Steel, Anti Slip Shower Handle for Wall, Elderly - AmazerBath Shower Grab Bars for Bathtubs and Showers, Handicap Grab Bars for Shower Anti Slip, Shower Grab Bars for Senior for Wall Stainless Steel, Holds up to 500LBs, 12" L x 1" D, Brushed Nickel --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kg/products/157483162-grab-bars-for-shower-2-pack-stainless-steel-bathroom-grab](https://www.desertcart.kg/products/157483162-grab-bars-for-shower-2-pack-stainless-steel-bathroom-grab) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kyrgyzstan* *Store origin: KG* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
