Review: Paid new. Got an open box. - This is a very good hardware. But I received an open box at price of new. This should be noted when you order and price should reflect that. Box didn’t have seals. Neither plastic wrap that comes with all I purchased from BlackMagic. Will see if it works and hope is not registered to domine else.
Review: Worth the money.. - I used for Unreal Engine Virtual Production, works great. Bit of a learning curve if you haven’t used one before.

**Q: If i have an hdmi and an sdi connection from two different sources plugged in, can i use my capture/streaming software to switch back and forth live?**
A: No, only one input is active at a time. Consider getting two of the Black Magic Mini Recorder cards, with SDI and HDMI inputs. Connect one video source to each card, and those two inputs could be switched between or mixed in various programs like vMix, LiveStream Studio, and Wirecast.

**Q: If this is the  bmd-bdlkhdextr4k12g card why is the picture showing the the older 6g card**
A: We have sent a request to Amazon. The picture is now updated with the correct 12G Decklink card.

**Q: Will this fit in a 2U rack mount server?**
A: Unfortunately, This card won't fit 2U chassis.

**Q: What slot does this need to be connected? I have to make sure the motherboard i buy as 1 that i can put this on.**

Well for starters the card being shown in the ad for the BMD Decklink 4K Extreme 12G Capture/Playback Card is really the BMD Decklink 4K 6G board that has got many bad reviews ... The real BMD Decklink 4K Extreme 12G Capture/Playback Card can be seen at the BMD website and I hope it is better than the card being shown in the ad ... I will keep writing reviews as I am installing and using the board not shown ?
